I have 2 new projects in the works
1. 'THE BALLAD OF MALCOLM CAMPBELL'. A CD of all original tunes, will be released in conjunction with the WAYSIDE CHAPEL and coincide with the opening of a new the Wayside Chapel building; a theatre and Youth Centre. All proceeds of this CD will go to the Youth Program of Wayside Chapel.
From the CD ' The Ballad Of Malcolm Campbell is a tribute song to a friend of mine who died as a young man fighting the battle of pain & addiction thru self medication. I wanted to do something significant for The Wayside Chapel Youth Program. This Drop-in-Centre & Youth Service provides a soft place to land and practical hands on help in a very harsh environment. They encourage young people to live their lives with purpose and friendship and love, instead of dying alone in their 20's or longing for it to end'.
The CD comprises11 original trks, all songs about peoples lives, recorded in a band setting. Debra Dicembre - vocals, Organ , drums & various sounds, Kevin Hunt - Piano, David Holmes - Guitar, Eric Rasmussen - Guitar & Vocals, Jeremy Sawkins - Guitar, Ralph Marshall - Bass. We will launch the CD at Wayside on NOVEMBER 19 @ 7.30 pm , a band gig & party , tickets $20.
